Charles Pescetto, of Kansas City reported a burglary some time between Jan. 15 and Jan. 27 at 20420 160th Street in Daviess County, south of Pattonsburg. A chain was cut from the front entrance gate of the property. Subject(s) then broke into the barn, garage and residence and loaded tools and guns into a vehicle. Tools stolen from the barn and garage were valued at over $7,000. Four guns stolen from the residence were valued over $3,000. The investigation is continuing.

Two Florida men are being held at Midwest Security Housing after being arrested in a traffic stop on I-35 on Jan. 31. Steven L. Balzano, 42, West Melbourne, Fla., and James Schrampf, 43, Melbourne, Fla., have each been charged with possession of methamphetamine precursor drug with intent to manufacture, class D felony, and misdemeanor counts of possession of a controlled substance and paraphernalia. Bond is set at $10,000 each.

John Eskridge, 17, Gallatin, was arrested Jan. 30 by the Gallatin police for burglary 1st degree, class B felony. He is being held at Midwest Security Housing on $35,000 bond. The investigation involves over 40 vehicles that had been broken into between Jan. 23 and Jan. 28 in Gallatin. See the related story on page ??

Amelia Urich, 21, St. Joseph, was processed and released after 12 hours after being arrested Jan. 28 for misdemeanor DWI.

Richard Enochs, 21, Kansas City, was charged Jan. 29 with misdemeanor possession of marijuana. He is being held at Midwest Security Housing on $500 bond.

Terry L. Lambert, 46, Cainsville, was arrested Jan. 28 for failure to appear on an order to show cause and misdemeanor driving while revoked. He posted $939 bond.

William G. Porterfield, 26, Unionville, was charged Jan. 27 with failure to appear on a misdemeanor charge of driving while suspended. He is being held at Midwest Security Housing on $500 bond.

Michael Mullen, 40, St. Joseph was arrested Jan. 25 for failure to appear on misdemeanor charges of driving while revoked and resisting arrest. He is being held at Midwest Security Housing on $2,500 bond.

Amy Trigg, 29, Richmond, was arrested Jan. 25 for misdemeanor DWI. She posted $500 bond.

Glen Purcell, 50, Rich Hill, is being held in Ray County after he failed to return to confinement. He had been sentenced to 60 days jail and did not appear. Bond was denied.
