Sophomores: A representative from Grand River Technical School will be here today to talk with sophomores during their history class. 1-30
Seniors: The local MFA Scholarship application is now available. Its value is $1500 and the application is due by Feb. 6th. 1-30
There will be a High School Academic meeting and practice on Wednesday, Feb 1st in Ms. St. John’s room. 2-1
There will be a HS Stream Team meeting Thursday, Feb 2nd at 7:45am in Mr. Steigerwalt’s room. 2-1
Attention FFA members: There will be an FFA meeting Wednesday, Feb. 1st at 7:30am in Mr. Croy’s room. All members must attend. 1-31
Students aged 16-18 may apply for the Missouri Cadet State Patrol Academy. You must have at lease a “C” grade average for this one weeklong program. Mr. Batson has applications. 2-6
There will be a pep rally this Friday at 2:40. Band members and cheerleaders will need to be dismissed at 2:35. 2-3
Scholarships available to seniors:
•Farm Credit Association: 35, $1,000 scholarships. Parents must be members
•Farmers Bank of Northern Missouri: A $500 Scholarship to one Daviess Co. senior
•Missouri Bankers Association: 7 $500 awards. You must have a banking related major
Applications may be picked up from Mr. Batson.
