Those filing as April 4 election candidates for Daviess County Central 9-1-1 board positions were Gene Walker for district 1, and John Sullenger, Wendel Gunzenhauser and Mark Richards for district 2.

Dana Carder presented the preliminary budget for review during the regular meeting of Central Dispatch held on Jan. 29.

The board carried a motion that 5% of the contributed and matched funds for each employee be added to their retirement account as compensation for the retirement program implementation delay.

The treasurer’s report was presented and accepted with bills of $10,362.33, revenue of $27,715.81, and a bank balance of $80,394.51.

Because of a recent board member question, an explanation was given on how a C&I call was handled.

Next budget meeting was held at 7 p.m. on Jan. 12.
