Premium Standard Farms paid more than $2.6 million in property and real estate taxes in eight north Missouri counties in 2005. This amount includes $264,070.35 in property taxes for the processing facility in Sullivan County in Milan.
The exact total of $2,689,715.04 includes real estate and personal property taxes at all Missouri company owned operations as well as livestock located at contract grower facilities.
Premium Standard Farms taxes in 2005 were paid to the following counties:
Daviess County — $269,698.50
Gentry County — $228,514.53
Grundy County — $10,825.64
Linn County — $682.61
Mercer County — $901,219.34
Putnam County — $462,737.69
Sullivan County — $807,080.14
Worth County — $8,956.59
