JH wrestling will start on January 18, in the old elementary gym. You need a physical if you haven’t already got one. You also need wrestling shoes, see Coach Gann if you need any more information. 1-18

Dress up days for Spirit week are as follows: Today-Opposite Sex Day, Wednesday-Black Tie Attire Day, Thursday-Decade of your choice Day, Friday-Red and Black Day.

Courtwarming coronation will be Friday before the game and the dance will be Saturday, Jan. 21st 8-11pm. 1-20

Sophomores: Two summer leadership programs are available to you. Both are 3 days long on college campuses and are offered at no cost. See Mr. Batson for information. 1-25

Any 7th grader who wishes to try out for JH cheerleading needs to sign the list in the office and pick up a permission form from Mrs. Critten. Practices will be Jan. 24, 25, 26 with tryouts on the 27th. 1-20

Soccer forms are in and can be picked up in the office. 1-18

There will be a meeting for all FBLA members attending contest on Thursday January 19th at 7:30 a.m. in Mrs. Holcomb’s room. You will discuss dress code, bus leave times, and important information about the day. 1-18

Applications for the “National Farm Kids for College Scholarship” are now available. Deadline is March 10th. 1-20

Science Olympiad events for the JH this week are today: Rocks/Minerals and Solar System, Wednesday-Wheeled Vehicles/Rockets, Thursday-none, Friday-Open Events. 1-20

Enrollment for dual credit classes will be Wednesday. The cost is $94 per credit hour. Students may pay at the time of enrollment or be billed through NCMC. 1-18
