Ten members of Delta Laureate Rho met at Southside for dinner and the business meeting on Jan. 2. President Nancy Salmon asked for committee reports for the new year and discussion was held on upcoming activities. The service project of adopting a family of five was rewarding to the chapter and appreciated by the family. Carol Weaver entertained the group with a program on “enjoying retirement” which sparked much conversation. The next meeting will be Jan. 16 at Lois Barton’s home with executive meeting to be held at 6:45.
