Traffic Fines

The following are traffic cases which were heard in the Associate Division of the Circuit Court of Daviess County involving a plea of guilty without contest and payment by mail of the standard fine plus court costs. The total fines assessed for defendants who reside outside of Missouri was $1,478.50 for 21 tickets. The total fines assessed for defendants who reside in Missouri was $576 for 9 cases. Court costs collected for the State of Missouri amount to $56.50 for moving traffic violations. Missouri defendants, offenses and fines are listed below:

Failure to stop at stop sign: James G. Sikes III, Aurora, $28.50.

Speeding: Mendy M. Stout, Liberty, $308.50; Stephen L. Adanns, Independence, $58.50.

Vision reducing material: David L. Rumley, Kansas City, $28.50.

Tyler Huston, Jamesport, was fined $10 for failure to secure child in seat belt; $18.50 for failure to display valid plates; and $10 for no seat belt.

Brian Eskridge, Gallatin, was fined $103.50 for no insurance and $10 for no seat belt.
