Funeral services for Ronald McLaughlin were held Tuesday at Bram Funeral Home in Hamilton. Burial was at Mount Ayr Cemetery, Altamont. Memorials may be made to the National Kidney Foundation or Cameron Dialysis.
Ronald Allen McLaughlin, 64, Gallatin, died Dec. 22, 2005, at Heartland Regional Medical Center in St. Joseph.
Mr. McLaughlin was born on April 2, 1941, in Daviess County to Dale and Leola Lord McLaughlin. He graduated from Penney High School in Hamilton.
Mr. McLaughlin was a self-employed trucker for over 35 years.
He was of the Christian faith.
Mr. McLaughlin was preceded in death by his parents, an infant daughter, Sarah, two grandchildren, Ryan Simmons and Keegan White, and a brother, Daryl Baker.
On June 18, 1960, he married Sherry Wilson in Kidder. She survives of the home.
Other survivors include three daughters, Annette Simmons of Higginsville, Dana White of Girard, Kan., and Melanie Walley of Stewartsville; three sisters, Carol Hazzard of Gallatin, Doreen Hacker of Winston and Marlene Hemminger of Cameron; one brother, Tony McLaughlin of Kansas City; and seven grandchildren.
