Newton Learning Services will provide summer school at R-2

The Pattonsburg R-2 Board of Education voted to have Newton Learning Services provide their summer school program for 2005-2006 during their regular meeting held on Wednesday, Dec. 21.

The board reviewed and approved the calendar of events; program evaluations on special education and vocational education.

Executive session was held to address personnel issues and to review the performance evaluation of the superintendent.

After returning to regular session, the board reviewed the school report card and approved it. They then reviewed information pertaining to a previous check that they had questions about at the November board meeting.

Next regular board meeting was set for Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2006.

Those in attendance at the regular meeting of the Pattonsburg R-2 Board of Education were Craig Lambert, Patty Hartley, Gene Thatcher, Ben deJong, Lincoln Cornett, Cindy Estep, Tammy deJong, Mrs. Rucker, Mrs. Gannon, and Mr. Burns.
