NCMC
North Central Missouri College in Trenton has named students with outstanding academic achievement for the 2005 fall semester to the Academic Honors List.
Students from our area named to the President’s Honor List with a perfect 4.0 grade point average were Kyle E. Hefley and Jenny L. Stanhope, both of Gallatin; Felicia J. Nelson of Jameson; and Susanna E. Bennett and Melody L. Prescott, both of Jamesport.
Named to the Dean’s Honor List with GPA of at least 3.5 were Brook E. Carder, Jacob N. Cook and Rusty L. Hendricks, all of Gallatin, Elizabeth C. Robinson, John P. Runde, Rachel D. Turiello and Jenny E. Youngs, all of Gilman City; Micah L. Briscoe and Kassie R. Hodge, both of Jamesport; Megan R. Doty of McFall; and Dana G. Utt of Winston.
Part-time students at NCMC are also recognized for outstanding academic performance. Area students named to the part-time President’s Honor List with a 4.0 GPA were Kim D. Spidle of Altamont; Charlotte J. Cox, Julie M. Fisher, and Amy L. McNeely, all of Jameson; Darla F. Dixon, Aaron P. Lewis and Cheryl A. Nix, all of Jamesport; Kelly R. Hargis and Patricia A. Shipley, both of Kidder.
Named to the part-time Dean’s Honor List with at least a 3.5 GPA were Misty D. Hamilton, Gilman City, and Barbara S. Martin, Jamesport.
MSU
Each semester, students at Missouri State University at Springfield, who attain academic excellence are named to the dean’s list. For undergraduate students, criteria include enrollment in at least 12 credit hours during the fall semester and at least a 3.50 grade point average (on a 4.00 scale). Of the 14,261 degree-seeking undergraduate students enrolled during the fall 2005 semester, 3,548 earned a spot on the list.
Among those students on the dean’s list are Wade A. Dixon and Ayron B. Wells, both from Jamesport.
