Micah Briscoe of Jamesport was among 16 Agriculture students from North Central Missouri College who recently attended the Missouri Post-Secondary Agriculture Students Organization State Conference in Jefferson City. Six NCMC students placed first in individual or team events at the conference while eight earned a second place finish and seven claimed third place recognition. NCMC student Brook Carder of Gallatin served as conference chair.
Micah was among students who qualified for national competition in St. Louis in Career Progress and Career Specialist Programs as well as Employment Interview. She also qualified with the College Bowl Team for national contest. David Nowland is the Agriculture Advisor for NCMC.
