Gallatin’s drive to the Class 1 football quarterfinals paid more dividends this week with the announcement of the Associated Press all-state teams. Seniors Daniel Horvatin and Clayton Baker were among a large number of area athletes who picked up the prestigious awards handed out by the Missouri Sportswriters and Sportscasters Association.

Horvatin, a 6’4″, 255-pound tackle, was named to the Class 1 second team offensive unit. Baker, a 5-10, 200-pound defensive tackle, was also named to the second team on defense.
