The archery season continues through Jan. 15. The muzzle-loader hunt runs through Dec. 4, and an antlerless deer hunt goes from Dec. 10 to Dec. 18.

There were eight non-fatal accidents and two fatal accidents. Fatalities included a man shot during a group hunt in Texas County and a northeast Missouri man. Both incidents are being investigated as “Class A” accidents in which other hunters mistakenly fired at what they believed were deer.
