R-5 FBLA attend conference

Over 28,000 top Future Business Leaders of America – Phi Beta Lambda (FBLA-PBL) students and their advisers from across the country gathered in Kansas City, on Nov. 11 – 12 at the National Fall Leadership Conference (NFLC). Members from the Gallatin Chapter who attended NFLC in Kansas City were: Trisha Sprague, Jonathan Arnold, Samantha Mott, Lacey Dixon, Katy Black, Whitney Boyd, Kathryn Everly, and Phillip Arnold.

Inspired to “Unlock your potential” with a conference full of workshops, networking, and corporate savvy, this conference had all the buzz and excitement of a high-powered, corporate development brainstorming weekend. “The business know-how and drive is amazing,” reports National FBLA President Ross Squires from Wisconsin. “We gather at a unique destination, make new lifelong contacts from across America, and raise our business and leadership abilities to the next level.”

Based at the Kansas City Marriott Downtown, members attended workshops to hone their skills in leadership, community service, career development, and competitive events. They attend General Sessions, which opened and closed the conference, and feature motivational speakers.

Future Business Leaders of America-Phi Beta Lambda, Inc. is a non-profit 501©3 student business organization with close to a quarter million members and advisors.
