Graveside services and burial for Maedene Moody were held Saturday at Pattonsburg Memorial Gardens. Arrangements were by Roberson Funeral Home, Pattonsburg. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’’s Association in care of the funeral home.

Maedene Moody, 79, Liberty, formerly of Pattonsburg and Gallatin, died Oct. 13, 2005, at a Liberty health-care center.

Mrs. Moody was born Oct. 7, 1926, in Harrison County, the daughter of James Emory and Velma Viola (Salmon) Moore. She attended school at Bethany High School, Stephens College and University of Missouri-Columbia.

Mrs. Moody worked for Traveler’’s Insurance and the University of Health Services.

She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star of Albany for more than 50 years.

She was married to J. Whitfield Moody. He survives of the home.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and one sister, Phyllis Bonita Quinn.
