Graveside memorial services for Larry Rhoades were held Saturday at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lebanon, Ind. Arrangements were by Myers Mortuary, Lebanon, Ind. Memorials may be made to the Boone County Mental Health Association or Boone County Senior Services, both of Lebanon, Ind. Online condolences may be made at www.myersmortuary.com.
Mr. Rhoades was born in Lebanon, Ind., on May 30, 1942, the son of the late Robert Eugene and Jean (Allen) Rhoades. He was a 1960 graduate of Lebanon High School and attended Porter Business College in Indianapolis and Indiana State University. He was a lifelong resident of Lebanon.
Mr. Rhoades worked in Indianapolis and Lebanon in various positions, including sales, factory work and truck driving. He last worked as a janitor for Lebanon Community School Corporation for two years. He retired several years ago due to his health.
He as a member of the Centenary United Methodist in Lebanon and Boone Aerie Fraternal Order of Eagles #2062 in Lebanon..
Survivors include one brother, Gary Rhoades, Lebanon, Ind.; two sisters, Jane McKinsey, Gallatin, and Susan Roseboom, Lebanon, Ind.
