Graveside service and burial for Josie Taylor were held Monday at Morris Chapel Cemetery in Bethany. Arrangements were by Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany. Memorials may be made to Morris Chapel Cemetery and/or American Heart Association in care of the funeral home.
Josie Taylor, 96, Bethany, died Sept. 30, 2005, at an Albany hospital.
Mrs. Taylor was born Oct. 26, 1908, in New Hampton, the daughter of Charlie and Mary (Kerns) Swartz.
She was first married to James Buzzard and then to Dale Taylor. Both of her husbands preceded her in death.
Mrs. Taylor was a member of the Methodist faith.
She was also preceded in death by one sister, Fannie Schroff; and four brothers, Wilbur, Wayne, George, and Raymond Swartz.
Survivors include four sons, Robert Swartz of Winston, Jim Buzzard of Venita, Okla.., Wayne Buzzard of Stockport, Iowa, and Larry Buzzard of Trenton; three daughters, Mary Lewis and Lucille McClure, both of Bethany, and Doris Neimann of Charlotte, N.C.; 18 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; eight step-great-grandchildren; and two step-great-great-grandchildren.
