Troy Harrington, 56, Jamesport, died Sept. 20, 2005, at his mother’s home in Jamesport, where he was under hospice care. The body was cremated. Arrangements were by Resthaven Mortuary.
Mr. Harrington was born on Aug. 26, 1949, in Princeton, the son of Marvin Brown and Emily Alice Critten Harrington.
He served in the Navy during the Vietnam Conflict.
He was married in 1970 to Kathy Davis and later married Joyce Hall in 1983.
Mr. Harrington worked for Organ Procurement in Seattle, Wash., Dallas, Texas, Johnson City, Tenn., Jackson, Miss., and Tulsa, Okla.
He was a member of the Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by his father, Marvin Harrington.
Survivors include one daughter, Carly Deann Harrington of Atlanta, Ga.; his mother, Emily Alice Harrington of Jamesport; one sister, Marva Ross of Jamesport; and one brother, Jim Harrington and his wife, Shirley, of Jamesport.
