You don’t have to climb the stairs for a glimpse at the antique Seth Thomas clock anymore. A new informational display – courtesy of money donated by over 40 local businesses for community improvement projects – is now located near the north entrance of the Daviess County courthouse.

This is the most recent improvement spinning off efforts to develop community assets originally inspired by the Gallatin Area Revitalization Alliance and more recently by a Highway 6 Corridor tourism group.

Dave Wilson and Vicki Corwin both were instrumental in bringing this project to reality. Dave extended existing interior window facings by constructing matching framework to hold the multi-panel photo display designed by Darryl Wilkinson.
