Graveside services and burial for Jimmy Neff were held Sunday at the Shelbourne Cemetery, southwest of Trenton. Arrangements were by the Roberson Funeral Home, Gilman City. Memorial contributions may be made to Jimmy Neff Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home, P.O. Box 46, Bethany, Mo., 64424.

Jimmy Neff, 32, Gilman City, formerly of Independence, died Thursday, Sept. 1, 2005, at a Kansas Medical Center.

Mr. Neff was born Sept. 7, 1972, in Chillicothe, the son of Harold Emery Neff and Elizabeth Ann (Marriott) Doolittle.

He was a roofer for Watkins Roofing.

On Dec. 18, 1993, he married April Steinhurst in Bethany. She survives of the home.

Mr. Neff was preceded in death by a grandfather, father-in-law, Rick Steinhurst, and nephew, Adan Sutton.

Other survivors include three sons, Nicklas Steinhurst, Kenneth Neff and Harold Neff, all of the home; his mother, Elizabeth Doolittle, Trenton; his father and stepmother, Harold and Marie Neff, Gilman City; three brothers, Timothy Michael Donelson, Blackburn, George Doolittle, New Jersey, and Thomas Doolittle, Trenton; his sister, Catherine Sutton, Independence; his stepbrother, Mike Wickman; his maternal grandparents, Herman and Oriene Marriott, Trenton; and his paternal grandmother, Winona Vanderflute, Trenton.
