The Missouri State Fair was held from Aug. 11-21. The Gallatin FFA Chapter had nineteen members attend showing goats, sheep, cattle and hogs.

JoAnn and Jamie Tummons, Justin Harlow and Kelsie McLaughlin showed goats.

Jamie Tummons was awarded for the FFA Grand Champion Boar female.

Laura Youtsey and Maggie Strange showed sheep. Laura Youtsey was awarded for FFA Corriedale Showmanship.

JoAnn and Jamie Tummons, Dillon Bird and John Runde showed cattle. Jamie Tummons was awarded for the FFA and Open Reserve Champion Hereford Heifer.

Erin and Kyle Croy, Hattie and Riley Rains, Whitney and Courtney Ray, Katie Jarboe, Nic Burrell, Stefanie Dowell, Kelly Critten and Andrew Hood showed hogs. Erin Croy was awarded for the Champion Open Tamworth boar. Kyle Croy was awarded for the Reserve Champion Open Poland China gilt and FFA Showmanship. Riley Rains was awarded for the Champion FFA Tamworth gilt. Whitney Ray was awarded for the Champion and Reserve FFA and Open Tamworth boar. Courtney Ray was awarded for the Reserve FFA Tamworth gilt and Nic Burrell was rewarded for the Reserve FFA Hampshire boar.

The Gallatin FFA Chapter won the field crop sweepstakes, the meat goat sweepstakes, received 2nd place in the swine sweepstakes, and 2nd place in the overall livestock sweepstakes.
