In State of Missouri vs. Shirley Tucker, a jury trial was conducted Aug. 29-30 in Livingston County on a change of venue. The defendant was found guilty of child endangerment in the first degree, class C felony. The jury assessed a sentence of six years in the Department of Corrections and a fine to be determined by the court. The case was originally filed in Daviess County Associate Circuit Court on March 30, 2004, and was bound over to Daviess County Circuit Court on June 28, 2004. The change of venue was granted on Aug. 5, 2004. The trial for a co-defendant is pending in Daviess County in November.
