Funeral services for Rosalie Lee were held at 10:30 a.m. today (Wednesday) at the Baptist Church in Coffey. Burial was in Hickory Creek Cemetery, Jameson. Arrangements were by McWilliams Funeral Home, Gallatin. Memorials may be made to the Coffey Baptist Church.

Rosalie (White) Lee, 82, Jameson, died Sunday, Aug. 21, 2005.

Mrs. Lee was born on Jan. 8, 1923, to Lewis Lawson White and Annie Lorraine (Barber) White in Jameson. She grew up in Daviess County and graduated from Coffey High School.

In 1944 she married George Lee and they resided on a farm near Winston. Not long after, they moved to a farm west of Weatherby in DeKalb County for six years, before finally settling down on their farm near Jameson.

Mrs. Lee, and husband, George, were engaged in farming for nearly all of the 61 years of their marriage. He survives of the home.

Mrs. Lee was a member of the Coffey Baptist church.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Frieda Holcomb.

Additional survivors include two sons, Greg of Holt and Randy of Clearwater, Kan.; one daughter, Mary Ann Lent of Atlanta, Mo.; one sister, Christina George of Brimmerton, Wash.; one brother, Melvin White of Hamilton; seven grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
