Aug. 1-3 the North Daviess FFA officers, their advisor and one chaperone left for southern Missouri for an officer retreat. While in Branson, the officers participated in several meetings to prepare for the new school year. They set goals and came up with new monthly activities. FFA members visited the American National Fish and Wildlife Museum and shopped at the Bass Pro store in Springfield. On Tuesday the officers drove to Celebration City to go on the rides and see a light show. On Wednesday they went to an IMAX theater and learned about Lewis and Clark. They returned home Wednesday evening. R-3 officers plan to share their ideas and goals with the other chapter members and hope to have a successful year ahead.
