Charles A. Plowman, 90, of Oklahoma City, formerly of Pattonsburg, died Monday, Aug. 15, at an Oklahoma nursing home.
Graveside service and burial for Charles Plowman were held Friday at the Grandview Cemetery, Albany. Arrangements were by Roberson-Polley Chapel, Albany.
Charles A. Plowman, 90, of Oklahoma City, formerly of Pattonsburg, died Monday, Aug. 15, at an Oklahoma nursing home.
Mr. Plowman was born Nov. 6, 1914, in Pattonsburg. He was the son of Fred Bruce and Ella Mae (Best) Plowman.
Mr. Plowman was a retired farmer and stockman.
In March of 1940, he was united in marriage to Julia Ruby Vance. She died on Sept. 22, 2000.
He was also preceded in death by a sister, Lavena Hines.
Mr. Plowman was a member of the McFall-Gentryville Masonic Lodge No. 125, A.F. & A.M.; Moila Shrine Temple and Scottish Rite Temple, both of St. Joseph.
Survivors include one son, Bill Elam, Oklahoma City.
