The Reserve Champion team, which included Jamie Tummons and Brett Littleton, both of Gallatin, competed in the 2005 Super Teens in the Mathewson Exhibition Center on Sunday, August 14, at the Missouri State Fair.
Eleven teams made up of two girls and two boys competed in the contest’s fourth appearance at the fair. It included a guys’ hay bale throw for height, a girls’ hay bale throw for distance, a cow milking contest, a cow chip tossing contest and a team obstacle course. In the milking contest the competitors had to run to the wooden cow, cover the bottom of their jar and run back. Brett Littleton, the 2nd place winner, had a time of 10.88 seconds.
