First Christian Church Enhances Service with a New Organ and Bus Ministry

This past Sunday, the First Christian Church celebrated worship with the beautiful music of a new organ. The organ will be used in the transitional worship center and will be incorporated in the new building. The congregation also began a new bus ministry designed to provide transportation to and from church services and events. The bus is designed for fifteen passengers and is equipped with a handicapped lift and straps to secure one wheelchair. The bus will be available for Sunday worship services at 8:30 and 10:45 a.m. as well as the Sunday School program which begins at 9:30 a.m. In addition, the church will begin Wednesday evening Children’s service on Sept. 7 and the bus will be available for these services.
