Other activities this summer included a family campout in May. In June, 12 Cubs attend the Crossed Arrows District “Knights of the Round Table” day camp. They made catapults, hour glasses and family crests. They did archery and shot BB guns just to name a few activities.

The Cubs watched the St. Joe Saints win a baseball game in June. They were able to meet and get the autographs of the ball players after the game.

In August, the scouts had one Tiger Cub, three Wolf Cubs, four Bear Cubs, and two Webelos attend “The Circus” resident camp at Camp Geiger in St. Joe. The boys enjoyed hiking, swimming, made crafts, played games, and much more.

Several of the boys earned their swimming and Ultimate Belt Loops.

On Aug. 19 at 6:30 p.m. in the city park in Winston the scouts will hold their fall roundup of new scouts. The current scouts will be having their Raingutter Regatta Races. They invite the public to join them.
