University of Missouri Extension-Northwest Region and Premium Standard Farms are pleased to announce a new partnership to provide financial information to individuals and families in the Premium Standard Farms’ operations area.

With financial assistance from Premium Standard Farms, Dr. Rebecca J. Travnichek from University of Missouri Extension developed a folder of easy-to-read financial management materials and resources. The folder includes University of Missouri Extension guidesheets on topics including money management, banking services, credit, fraud, car buying, preparing for end-of-life issues, and saving money. Some of the information is available in English and Spanish.

“We are pleased to partner with University Extension to offer these financial materials,” stated Jason Helton, Manager of Communications for Premium Standard Farms. “These resources are useful tools that provide tips on how to manage your finances wisely and should help contribute to an overall improved quality of life for area residents.”

The materials included in the financial management folders are designed to cover a wide range of financial literacy topics and to assist individuals in making financial decisions. The folders of financial information are available for free for anyone to pick up at several county extension offices in northwest and north central Missouri.

The free financial information packets are available at the Daviess County Extension Center, 102 N. Main, Courthouse, Gallatin.
