John E. Klindt, 81, of Jefferson City, died Friday, July 8, 2005, at Saint Mary’s Health Center.
Funeral services for John Klindt were held Monday, July 11, at the Houser Millard Funeral Home in Jefferson City. Burial was in Riverview Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the American Heart Association or the Helias Foundation.
John E. Klindt, 81, of Jefferson City, died Friday, July 8, 2005, at Saint Mary’s Health Center.
Mr. Klindt was born April 25, 1924, in Bethany, a son of Charles D. and Esther (Taggart) Klindt. He was a graduate of Bethany High School. He also received his CLU designation from American College.
He was married Aug. 27, 1941, in Princeton to Juanita Ross (Klindt) who preceded him in death on May 14, 2003.
Mr. Klindt was a sales manager for the Farm Bureau of Missouri. He had farmed earlier in his life.
He was a member of the Masons for many years.
Mr. Klindt was preceded in death by a sister, Marjorie E. Hatten; and two brothers, Chester L. and Kenneth Klindt.
Survivors include four sons, Michael R. Klindt of Bethany, Douglas E. Klindt of Bethany, Senator David G. Klindt of Bethany, and Daniel J. Klindt of Jefferson City; one daughter, R. Ann Murray of Jefferson City; one sister, Mary Mason of Pattonsburg; two brothers, Ernest Lyle Klindt of Bethany, and Bill Klindt of Maryville; 16 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
