The Winston Class of 1980 celebrated their 25th Class Reunion on June 11, 2005 at the Winston City Hall with 34 individuals present. Seventeen individuals attended breakfast together at a local café.
Several mementos were on display during the reunion for everyone to enjoy. Senior class sponsor and teacher, Steve Yost, and teacher, Dan Bridgeman, dropped by to visit.
After the reunion, several attended the 65th annual Winston High School Alumni Banquet. After the banquet many gathered at the home of Tom and Wendy Kober.
Attending were Kenny Pierce, Marty Michael, Kenny Beldon, Doug Lollar, Lauri (Hendricks) Caldwell, John Creamer, Judie (Barron) Cahill, Michele (Kilgore) Richardson, Cindy (McCown) Barker, Milton Cook III, Candy (Hart) Wendelman, Carrie (Heldenbrand) Cook, Janis (Ayres) Riggs, Jodi (Slaughter) Frazier, Randy Frazier, Wendy (McCown) Kober, Tom Kober and Frances (Gallegoes) Firkins. Those unable to attend were Peggy (Stufflebean) Hogan of Cameron, Jackie (Olsen) Hatsell of Georgia and Melissa (Rogers) of Texas.
