Funeral services for Steven Lukehart were held Saturday, July 2, 2005, at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Gallatin. Burial was near Gallatin at Greenwood Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Steven C. Lukehart Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home.
Steven Lukehart, 41, died Wednesday, June 29, 2005 as the result of a construction accident in Gallatin.
Mr. Lukehart was born May 3, 1964, to Kenneth and Shirley (Snider) Lukehart in Jamesport. He graduated from Gallatin High School in 1983.
He worked as a carpenter for most of his life and was currently employed by the Gallatin Sand and Construction Company.
Mr. Lukehart was of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Penny, in 1956.
Survivors include four sons Bryan Lukehart, St. Joseph, Tyler Lukehart, Kearney, Harrison and Garrett Pettit, Gallatin; a daughter Dariyn Pettit, Gallatin; his parents Kenneth and Shirley Lukehart, Gallatin; a brother Jerry Lukehart, Gallatin, two sisters, Kim Cornett, Gallatin, and Teresa Schill, Warrensburg.
