Funeral services for Carolyn Severe were held Friday at Bram Funeral Home in Maysville. Burial was at McCrary Cemetery, Gallatin. Memorials may be made to the McCrary Cemetery Association.
Carolyn Whitt Severe, 64, Maysville, died Tuesday, June 28, 2005, at a hospital in Kansas City.
Mrs. Severe was born Jan. 3, 1941, at Gallatin, and attended Gallatin High School. She had been a longtime resident of Chicago, Ill., and Maysville for the past three years.
She was preceded in death by a son, Steven.
Survivors include one son, James Miller, Chicago; two daughters, Misti Roe, Chicago, and Kristi Hampton, Raytown; five brothers, Dean Whitt, Osceola, Richard Whitt, Hamilton, Ivan Whitt, Maysville, Gary Whitt, Cameron, and Darrell Whitt, Pattonsburg; one sister, Evelyn McGuire, Maysville; and a half sister, Daisy Pierce, Jamesport.
