Rosalind Chatham, 85, the sister of Loyal Smith of Lake Viking near Gallatin, died Wednesday, June 15, 2005, at a local health-care facility. Private graveside service and inurnment in Mexia, Tex., will be at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory.

Rosalind Chatham, St. Joseph, was born April 21, 1920, to Herman Frederick Kuhn and Olive Gertrude (Meek) Kuhn. They preceded her in death.

In May of 1958, she married Elmore Chatham. He also preceded her in death.

Prior to moving to St. Joseph five years ago, she resided in Silver Spring, Md. where she was employed with the CIA for 23 years as a research analyst. Mrs. Chatham was of the Presbyterian faith.

Also preceding her in death was her brother, Edgar Kuhn.

Other survivors include her brother, Robert Kuhn of Evanston, Ill.
