The Missouri Department of Transportation will be holding a public hearing about the proposed Welcome Center to be built in Harrison County between the Iowa State Line and Bethany along the southbound lane of Interstate 35. The hearing will be held at the Eagleville Community Room, 10028 10th Street, in Eagleville, from 4-7 p.m. on Thursday, June 23.
MoDOT representatives will give brief formal presentations at 4:15 p.m., 5:15 p.m. and 6:15 p.m. regarding the criteria for a location of the Welcome Center. Information about right of way acquisition and construction will also be discussed. Each presentation will be followed by an opportunity to discuss the project, and the public is encouraged to attend and give their input. The public will also be given the opportunity to provide written comments up to ten days after the meeting.
