The University of Missouri Extension office will be hosting a crops clinic in which all producers and dealers in the region are invited to attend. The meeting will be held at Landmark Manufacturing on June 29 at 10 a.m. and there is no charge. .

The clinic is designed to answer grower questions as they scout nearby soybean, corn and alfalfa fields for yield robbers like Asian soybean rust, soybean aphids, other insect and disease pests, and crop nutrient deficiencies, compaction, and weeds. Erin Marlow, University of Missouri Regional Agronomist said, “The intent is to make growers and dealers more certain of what they are seeing in the field.”

Those attending can pick up a hand lens, sweep net, MU scouting manual, MU nutrient deficiency manual, “Using Foliar Fungicides to Manage Soybean Rust” and a pocket forage field guide.
