The Army National Guard of Chillicothe would like to invite the public to an open house at the Army National Guard Armory from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday, June 17 at 1500 Washington Street.
There will be displays of different types of weapons, protective gear, and equipment used by the Army National Guard. A Recruiter will be available to explain the benefits of the Army National Guard, (Money, College, Training, and Service to Country). Booths will be set up for people to come and visit with the soldiers that just came off of deployment. Ask the members questions about how they served their country. A weapon simulator will be set up to see how a M16A2 rifle shoots and to see just how good of a shot you are. Members will also be available to give tours of the Armory.
The Army National Guard is looking forward to seeing the supportive public.
