Lisa Dorothea (Meritt) Goeman, 42, Kansas City, Kan., died as a result of cancer on June 6, 2005.
Mrs. Goeman was born June 27, 1962, in Fairbury, Neb., to Wayne and Dorothy Meritt.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy Jean (Meritt) Avina of Pepperwood, Calif.
Survivors include one son, Justin, Kansas City, Kan., and her long-time friend, Mike Wilcox, Kansas City, Kan.; her parents, Wayne and Evelyn Meritt of Brownville, Neb.; four sisters, Destyn Taylor of Louisburg, Ronda Meritt of Liberty, Neb., Theresa (Meritt) Persell of Gallatin, and Regina Meritt of Fortuna, Calif; one brother, Les Meritt of Panama City Beach, Fla.; three stepsisters, Vicki Timmerman and Pam Harbin, both of Brownville, Neb., and Sheila Harbin of Watson; and two stepbrothers, Ralph Andrew of Nebraska City, Neb., and Tim Andrew of Gallatin.
