Brooke Ann Sutton and Todd Eric VanHoutan were united in marriage at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 9, 2005, at Stonegate Chapel, Walnut Shade. Rev. John O. Wagner, uncle of the bride, officiated the ceremony. A reception followed at the Meadows of Eden Reception Hall.
Maids of Honor were Aaryn McFarland and Erin Aggus. Bridesmaids were Laura Nuckolls, Cindy Alumbaugh and Lisa Hurst. Best men were Tyler VanHoutan and Trevor VanHoutan. Groomsmen were Matt Graham, Zack Kuhn and Justin White. Ushers were Shane Pence and Danny Talbert. Flower girl was Carissa Sutton and ring bearer was Connor Sutton. Program attendant was Caron Hairabedian and vocalist was Jenifer Thomas.
The bride’s parents are Terry and Betty Sutton of Nixa. The groom’s parents are John and Pam VanHoutan of Carl Junction, formerly of Gallatin. Todd is the grandsons of LaVaughn Thomas, Gallatin.
The couple honeymooned with a cruise to the Southern Caribbean. They reside in Joplin where Brooke is an agent with Federated Insurance and Todd is customer service representative for Federal Express.
