The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) will be providing weekly alerts to area media about upcoming active work zone. Weather permitting, the following are projects scheduled to be active the week of May 23-27. Please note that there will be no active work zones during the Memorial Day Weekend.
In Daviess County, Route B east of Route 13 will be closed for bridge construction from Route 13 to Route K (except for local traffic.) The contractor is Boone Construction. Also, Route B west of Route 13 will be closed for bridge construction from Interstate 35 to Route 13 (except for local traffic.) The contractor is Emery Sapp & Sons, Inc.
Maintenance crews in Daviess County will be laying pre-mix on Route J from Kidder to Route 6. Crews will be doing road repairs on Route 13 about three miles south of Gallatin. The road will be narrowed to one lane during this time. Crews will be doing concrete pavement repair on both northbound and southbound lanes of I-35 north of Cameron.
