On May 20, federal inditements were issued against the following 14 people.

Eleven were arrested on May 24. They are Paul Huffman, formerly of Winston, Kyle Waltemeyer of Winston, Juanita Pearson of Gallatin, Larry Karstens of Gallatin, Claudelle Bruyer of Gallatin, Russell Peters of Kidder, Steven Ray Wheeler, Steven McLaine Wheeler, Caleb Wheeler and Leanne (Soperla) Wheeler, all of Cameron; and Daphne Enloe of Osborn.
Melissa Trigg, formerly of Winston, and Chris Dannar of Lake Viking were already in federal custody on a criminal complaint filed May 3. Cody Gilreath of Gallatin was already in federal custody for felon in possession of a firearm.
These subjects were all taken to the new Kingston jail in Caldwell County, which houses federal prisoners, and were transported today (May 25) to the federal courthouse in Kansas City to appear before a federal judge.
This has been an ongoing investigation for over a year with the following agencies involved: Daviess County Sheriff’s Department, North Central Missouri Drug Strike Force, NITRO Task Force, Cameron Police Department, Caldwell County Sheriff’s Department, DeKalb County Sheriff’s Department, Clinton County Sheriff’s Department, DEA and ATF.
