Funeral services for Viola Huff were held Tuesday at the Lindley Funeral Home in Chillicothe. Burial was in the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Chillicothe. Viola Verdeen Huff, 83, Chillicothe, died May 14, 2005, at Hedrick Medical Center in Chillicothe.
Mrs. Huff was born on April 22, 1922, the daughter of Richard Russell and Nellie Lorena (Brown) Duane in Lomax, Ill.
On Sept. 25, 2939, she married Lewis Wendell Huff in Kahoka. He died on Feb. 8, 1988.
Mrs. Huff was a certified nurses aid for nursing homes in Chillicothe for several years.
She was preceded in death by a son, Charles Huff, and a daughter, Donna Taylor.
Survivors include one son, Lewis Richard Huff of Knoxville, Ill.; two daughters, Lorena Avery, and Melody Sage, both of Chillicothe; one brother, Roy Lee Erwin, Clarksville, Tenn.; one sister, Larange Simpson of Clarksville, Tenn.; 16 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.
