Congratulations to the Gallatin Lions Club on their 60 years of service to the Gallatin community.

It was my privilege, as a living relative of a charter member, to be present for their 60 year celebration recently.

The inspirational speaker, the colorful history of their activities, the recognition of relatives of charter members and former presidents, the food and fellowship made it a memorable event.

I’m proud that my Dad, Harl Garner, helped charter such a successful, active, long-lived club. Best wishes as they continue their mission of service to others.
