Funeral services for Beulah Berry will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 14, at D.W. Newcomer’s Sons White Chapel, 6600 N. Antioch, Gladstone. Burial will follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens. Friends may call between 5-7 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church of Gallatin.

Beulah Barnes Berry, 81, North Kansas City, died Sunday, May 8, at her home.

Mrs. Berry was born March 5, 1924, in Cassville, to Clarence and Myrtle Eacret.

She was a retired CNA and had worked in nursing homes in Gallatin and Cameron until the age of 78.

Mrs. Berry was active in the First Baptist Church of Gallatin and Red Hat Club and was an accomplished poets.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, George Edward Barnes.

Survivors include her husband, William Berry; two daughters, Sharon Trotter and Joyce Haas; two sons, George E. Barnes, Jr., and Rodger K. Barnes; 11 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
