Gallatin R-5 senior Emily Gay has been recognized by the Missouri Basketball Coaches Association as a recipient of the Academic All-State Award. She was recognized in a ceremony held Sunday on the University of Missouri-Columbia campus. There were 31 girls named to the Academic All-State roster this year.
Award winners must have played in at least 75% of their teams’ total quarters, possess outstanding moral character, grade point average 3.25 or higher and ACT of 27 composite or above.
