Dennis Lund was sworn in as Gallatin’s newest police officer on April 25. He will begin duty May 1.
Officer Lund was born and raised in Hamilton where he attended high school.
He worked for the Department of Corrections at Cameron for 10 years. He received his diploma from the Regional Law Enforcement Academy at Missouri Western State College in 2003. After graduating he began working part-time for the Gallatin Police Department and as a full-time deputy for Caldwell County.
Officer Lund is presently living in Gallatin with his wife, Nicole (Lockridge) who graduated from Gallatin R-5 in 1989.
