Gallatin R-5 sophomore Alyssa Strein attended the annual Sophomore Pilgrimage April 9-10 in Jefferson City. Students from across the state tour the Capitol building, Governor’s Mansion and other state government buildings, meet their legislative representatives and attend a luncheon where elected state officials speak to the students about state government. Alyssa is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Denny Strein.
Students must be in the upper 25 percent of their sophomore class and should demonstrate high standards of honor, courage, citizenship, leadership, and service.
