Jared Scott Lee and Daniel Ray Benedict, both of Winston Boy Scout Troop 167 in Winston, have earned the coveted Eagle Scout award. Both young men completed outstanding Eagle Scout projects at Winston R-6 School District.
Jared’s project was a new welcome sign at the entrance of the school parking lot. Daniel’s project was a 50 foot handicap access ramp to the Winston preschool building. Both youths will be honored in separate Eagle Scout ceremonies to be held at Winston United Methodist Church. Jared’s ceremony will be at 2 p.m. on April 24 and Daniel’s ceremony will be at 1 p.m. on April 30.
Both Jared and Daniel appreciate everyone who donated their time, money and materials to their Eagle Scout projects and invite everyone to attend their ceremonies.
