Green Hills birdhouse program

The Green Hills RC&D Council is once again offering to the public, bluebird and wren houses for sale. Birds are looking for homes so let’s help them by setting out birdhouses. They are locally made and meet the Missouri Department of Conservation specifications. Orders will be taken while supplies last.

This year’s program will offer a variety of painted or bare wood houses. Bluebird houses unpainted – $6; bluebird houses painted – $8; wren houses unpainted – $5; wren houses painted – $7.

Also a limited amount of gourd wren houses are available at a cost of $6. Order forms for the birdhouses can be picked up at the Green Hills RC&D office at 1100 Morton Parkway, Chillicothe, or call 660-646-6220, ext. 104.
