The Missouri Department of Conservation will sponsor a one day hunter education class on Saturday, March 26, at the fire station in Pattonsburg. The class will start at 8 a.m. and finish around 7 p.m. Hunter education certification is limited to persons 11 years of age and older.
Students under 16 must bring proof of age to class. Seating is limited, therefore, each student must pre-register by calling Alan Bradford at 660-663-3502. The class is free of charge.
Missouri law requires all persons born on or after Jan. 1, 1967, to have an approved hunter safety certification card which they must display to permit vendors before they can purchase any type of firearms hunting permit.
